The film explores the current state of one of the worlds most endangered ecosystems, the Great Plains grassland, and the role that cattle play in its survival. As we reach new critical levels in the loss of these iconic landscapes, there are important truths we must face about humanity’s relationship with the land and our food.

Emergency Preparedness Week: Be Ready for Anything

This year, the national Emergency Preparedness Week campaign is May 1 to 7. The theme Emergency Preparedness: Be Ready for Anything is a reminder that preparedness isn’t just about being ready for the next big disaster. It’s about making preparedness a part of our routine so we are able to navigate disruptions, big or small. ⁣

This week, challenge yourself each day to take one step towards making preparedness a habit. Actions like packing extra snacks in your bag or buying a flat of water to store at home, are easy things you can do to help you better navigate future disruptions. ⁣
