It’s time to talk about Farm Succession

With Annessa Good-Hassard, Peak Heritage Consulting

  • Wheatland County Administration Building
  • November 19, 2025 – 10:00pm – 4:30pm

“They” say farm families need to communicate more and better. But how?

In this session, Annessa Good-Hassard of Peak Heritage Consulting Ltd. shares practical strategies and frameworks to move beyond vagueness into clear, actionable tools. Guided by her motto: “Succession is the transfer of a business, Estate Planning is the transfer of assets pre- and post-death, and Transition is a combination of both — proactive rather than reactive,” she offers a grounded, real-world approach to planning.

Topics include family dynamics, operational clarity, compensation, land transfer strategies, estate planning, and fiscal realities — with the goal of giving families confidence to start the conversations every farm faces.
