Wheatland County Administration, the Agricultural Service Board Shop, Waste Transfer Sites, and the Public Works Shop will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026 in observance of Family Day. Regular operations will resume on the next business day. We wish everyone a safe and happy Family Day!

Fire Advisory LIFTED

Effective: June 26, 2023

The FIRE ADVISORY has been lifted for Wheatland County.

With recent changes in the weather the Fire Advisory in Wheatland County has been lifted.

Should conditions change or start to deteriorate, a fire ban for Wheatland County could be reinstated.

If you’re thinking about burning please complete the fire permit application on our website at https://wheatlandcounty.ca/firepermits/ 

We strongly urge residents to be fire safe.
