On May 14, 2022, the new Carseland Fire Station was officially opened! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening.
In preparation for future Capital Projects, Wheatland County will have surveyors in Rosebud starting May 24, 2022. Please be aware of their presence in the area while they conduct their work and allow for appropriate access as required.Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Wheatland County Fire Services hosted a farm extrication course that was attended by volunteer firefighters from our 8 fire departments. The training that was instructed by Randy Schmitz and Jim Wilson allowed our firefighters to learn skills and techniques to further enhance our fire services ability to respond and manage these complex rescue situations.
The contractor is continuing with grading works and centerline culvert installations between HWY 564 and TWP 254A. Stripping work is progressing south of TWP 254A. Gravel is being placed on the northernmost kilometer of RR 205, south of HWY 564.
Please exercise caution and follow all detours and posted signage if you are driving in the area.
