Open Houses: Bylaw 2024-18, Electoral Boundaries Bylaw

Wheatland County will be holding Open Houses to give residents the opportunity to review and discuss Bylaw 2024-18, the Electoral Boundaries Bylaw, with Wheatland County staff.

Open Houses will take place at the following locations and times:

June 10, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Hussar Community Hall                                         
216 Centre Street, Hussar, AB

June 11, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Gleichen District and Community Centre         
204 3rd Avenue, Gleichen, AB

June 12, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Lyalta Community Club (Hall)

Wheatland County will hold a Public Hearing at the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, for Bylaw 2024-18, the Electoral Boundaries Bylaw.

Comments may be forwarded in writing to Wheatland County or in person at the above meeting. The application files may be reviewed in the County Office during regular office hours – Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Any comments provided will become part of the public record in accordance with Section 40 (1) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection Privacy Act.
