Muirfield Discoloured Water Notice

Attention Muirfield Water Users:

Wheatland County is aware of and is addressing reported concerns about discoloured potable water observed in the Lakes of Muirfield community. County staff have completed additional water quality testing at the potable water reservoir and at several locations within the community. The results of these tests have confirmed that our water has continued to adhere to the regulatory standards mandated by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, indicating it is suitable for consumption.

Our team is actively investigating the cause of the discolouration and will maintain regular communication with both the community and Alberta Environment until the situation is resolved.
