Taste and Odor Issue

We would like to take this opportunity to explain the current taste and odor issue WRC customers are experiencing.  The hot, sunny weather and very little precipitation in August caused quality issues to develop in the regional raw water reservoir.  These issues are related to the taste and odor which are aesthetic, and in NO way impact the safety of the water.  The daily and weekly testing which WRC does on a regular basis and submit to AHS have shown no health concerns.  The WRC is aware of the taste and odor concerns and have been working to alleviate them. 

It will take some time to move this through the system, and we ask that community please bear with us while we continue to work through this issue.  Please refer to the WRC Facebook page and website at www.wrc-ab.ca for updates on the situation.
