Community Enhancement Regional Board 2021 Approved Projects
Annually, the Wheatland County Community Enhancement Regional Board (CERB) meet to review, evaluate, prioritize and decide the distribution of funding set aside in the Community Enhancement Reserve. This program began in 2012 and to date, has contributed $3,981,366.00 for the enhancement and betterment of Wheatland County.
Applications from Non-Profit organizations within the County were accepted in January 2021 and the Board met via Zoom Video Meeting on March 23rd and April 08th 2021 to review these applications.
Board Members assembled to undertake the task of reviewing forty-seven (47) applications including a total request for grant funds of $729,758.00 focusing on Operating funding particularly for organizations and groups from within the County. From the forty-seven applications, the Committee is recommending funding for forty (40) applications totaling $396,878.00.
