Road coring is complete for the Gleichen 8th Avenue Wastewater Main Replacement Project. The contractor is now placing gravels along 8th Ave and Adam Street, and chip seal will be placed on the road next week. Repairs to the sidewalks and landscaping will follow.
Gleichen 8th Avenue Wastewater Main Replacement Project – Update July 9, 2021
The contractor has now completed the replacement of all water and wastewater services to the property lines of houses along 8th Avenue. As a result of the wet weather, the start of road works has been delayed, with coring and subgrade prep expected to commence next week.
