Carseland Cole Crescent Update: May 26, 2023

Updated: May 26, 2023

The contractor mobilized to site the week of May 15th and commenced excavation and replacement of the sanitary lines scheduled for repair.  During these repairs, the contractor unintentionally damaged the water main, resulting in an emergency shutdown of water servicing Cole Crescent.  After the repairs were completed by the contractor, a boil advisory was issued to the impacted residents as per regulations, which was lifted on Monday, May 29th.  Wheatland County appreciates the patience and understanding by everyone affected during this abrupt interruption of service.

Sanitary line replacement is expected to continue throughout all next week.  The contractor has put additional precautions in place to ensure no further emergency shutdowns of water services occurs.  Please continue to exercise caution and follow all posted signage and closures in the area.
