Join us on April 10th for a coffee and chat session with staff from Wheatland County and The Inspections Group Inc. We’ll discuss the nuances of the updated National Building Code – 2023 Alberta Edition, which comes into effect on May 1, 2024.
There will be a 30-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session.
Highlighted topics of discussion will include:
- Exemption of farm buildings from building, energy, and fire codes in Alberta.
- Adoption of Tier 1 as the minimum province-wide standard for building energy efficiency for housing and small buildings under Part 9 of the Alberta edition of the National Building Code, and Tier 1 for energy efficiency for other buildings in the National Energy Code for Buildings 2020.
