Snow plowing activities are ongoing as Wheatland County crews continue work to clear snow that has fallen or drifted onto County roadways. To date, crews have worked to make most roads throughout the County passable by travellers, though some roads may still be subject to full or partial drifting while snow plowing work continues. Weather pending, it is anticipated that all County roads that are normally used for public travel will be cleared no later than December 27th.
Some roads that are typically accessed only for agricultural or resource related business activities will be cleared only after all other plowing has been completed. These roads are listed below and are currently planned to be cleared in the days following December 27th.
– RR 214 to HWY 842 on TWP 244 (2 miles)
– RR 201 to RR 203 on TWP 234 (2 miles)
– HWY 56 to RR 194 0n TWP 244 (1 mile)
– RR 190 to RR 192 on TWP 262 (1.5 miles)
– Duck Lake Rd to RR 181 on TWP 254A (0.5 miles)
Thank you for your continued patience as crews work to complete the snow clearing on our roadways.
Drive safe, everyone!
