Watch Measures for Wheatland County

Due to a rapid rise of COVID-19, Alberta Health has announced stronger mandatory and voluntary public health measures in all communities that have at least 10 active cases and more than 50 active cases per 100,000, this includes Wheatland County. https://www.alberta.ca/maps/covid-19-status-map.htm#list-of-active-cases-by-region.

Effective immediately, there is a mandatory 15 person limit on social and family gatherings – indoors and outdoors – where people are mixing and mingling.

Additionally, all residents and visitors of communities on the watch/enhanced measures list are recommended to limit cohort groups and wear a mask in all indoor work settings.
