Upcoming Road Rehabilitation in the Lakes of Muirfield
Wheatland County will be undertaking road rehabilitation and overlay work in the Lakes of Muirfield community beginning in June 2025. This project will include improvements along Muirfield Boulevard, Muirfield Crescent, Muirfield Close, and the Township Road 252 access route.
The scope of work includes:
- Subgrade excavation and base improvements
- Asphalt overlay
- Concrete repairs to curbs, gutters, and sidewalks
- Upgraded pavement markings and traffic signage
- Installation of speed tables and enhanced drainage features
These upgrades are designed to improve road safety, enhance appearance, and increase the long-term durability of infrastructure in the community.
Construction is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025. Exact start dates will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed.
Throughout the project, local and golf cart access will be maintained. Residents should expect intermittent lane closures, increased construction traffic, and noise during working hours. Signage will be in place to help guide vehicles and pedestrians safely around active work areas.
