Support for Livestock and Poultry Producers in Areas that may be Affected by Drought

Are you a livestock producer that may be affected by drought?

To access Water Act applications, such as temporary diversion licences (TDL), you will need to have a MyAlberta Digital ID account, as well as a profile in the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS).

To prevent delays in the processing of any required authorizations that you may need, consider setting up your account and profile now.

Do you have a MyAlberta Digital ID account?

If not, you will need to create either a MyAlberta Digital ID (MADI) or a MyAlberta Digital ID for Business (MADI-B) account.

Which MyAlberta Digital ID do I require?

MADI is designed for individuals to access Government of Alberta services, including DRAS.

MADI-B is designed for legal entities to access Government of Alberta services, including DRAS. Key legal entities include:

  • agencies
  • associations
  • boards
  • businesses
  • municipalities, and
  • provincial and federal governments.

To create a MADI or MADI-B account:

If you require assistance with creating a MADI or MADI-B account, contact Service Alberta at myalbertaid@gov.ab.ca or 1 844 643-2789.

Do you have a DRAS profile?

If not, you will need to create a DRAS profile using your MADI or MADI-B account.

An instructional video on How to Create an Account and Log in to DRAS is found on the Digital Regulatory Assurance System webpage.

Are you completing the application yourself?

If not, the information on how to give permission to someone to apply on your behalf is found on the Digital Regulatory Assurance System webpage under “DRAS Delegation Updates.”

If you require assistance creating a DRAS profile, contact Alberta Environment and Parks portal support at regulatoryassurance.support@gov.ab.ca or at 780-427-6311.
