Seniors Staying Safe

The Alberta Elder Abuse Awareness Council (AEAAC) has launched the digital version of Staying Safe: A Resource for Older Adults living in Alberta. This handbook was created to provide older adults with important information to help them stay safe. It is a comprehensive guide that can help older adults identify an unsafe or abusive situation and understand their rights and options if someone in their life is hurting them.

Knowing that each individual’s situation is different and complex, this handbook contains a variety of resources that will provide additional information and connect individuals to organizations and experts that can help them navigate their unique situation.
