Public Notice – Goldfinch Raw Water Supply Pipeline

Planned Construction Period: January 2025 to July 2025

Wheatland County is installing an underground raw water supply pipeline from Speargrass to the Goldfinch Industrial Area.

Schedule and Scope
Construction is planned to begin in January 2025, with crews anticipated to be working until late July 2025. The raw water line installation will include:

• Directional drilling within Wheatland County road rights-of-way
• Water well installations
• Auxiliary building construction

Traffic Impacts
Much of the water line construction will be underground with limited surface disturbances. Single-lane closures may occur along the water line route at various times for safety purposes, with signage posted accordingly. Emergency access will remain available throughout the duration of the project.

Once construction commences, updates will be posted on the County website: www.wheatlandcounty.ca
The construction contractor will contact directly impacted property owners to review and coordinate specific interruptions of service or other project-related details as required.
