Wheatland County’s parks and open spaces are guided by the Parks and Open Spaces Bylaw 2025-10, which helps ensure these areas remain safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.

The bylaw outlines rules related to operating hours, public conduct, camping, fires, animal control, vehicle use, and other recreational activities.

If you’re planning a special use of a park space, written approval may be required—please contact the Community and Development Services Department at 403-934-3321 for more information.
