Notice: Tree Maintenance and Removal in Gleichen

Attention Gleichen Residents: ⁣

Wheatland County will be conducting tree maintenance in the community of Gleichen during the week of June 24, 2025. Work will take place along the 9th Avenue boulevard and the two southern blocks of 7th Avenue.

The planned maintenance includes pruning and the removal of high-risk trees. Trees identified for removal will be flagged in advance, and notices will be delivered to affected residences.

We kindly ask residents to give the tree crew adequate space to work and to exercise caution around active work zones.

All removed trees will be replaced this fall, in consultation with adjacent homeowners.
