Notice: Road Closure RR 262

Attention Motorists:

Wheatland County will be closing RR 262 to through traffic south of HWY 901 starting November 12, 2024, due to bridge construction in the area. ⁣

Traffic will be detoured to RR 261 for north/south commuters. This closure is expected to be removed in early December 2024. ⁣
⁣
Please follow all posted signage and detours while the contractor is on location.

December 17, 2024, Update:

Due to various weather delays, bridge construction along RR 262 will continue into the New Year. RR 262 will remain closed until January 31, 2025, to complete the construction. Please follow all posted signage and detours while the contractor is on location.
