Gleichen Sidewalk Repairs

Construction Period: May 2023 to June 2023

Wheatland County will be conducting sidewalk and concrete repairs in various areas of Gleichen. The construction period is scheduled to begin during the week of May 23rd, 2023, as weather permits, and crews are anticipated to be working until late June 2023.

Sidewalk/Concrete Repairs will include:

• Replacement of sidewalk in 15 locations
• Installation of sidewalk wheelchair ramps in 7 locations

Traffic Impacts:

During construction, various locations will be closed off to vehicle traffic, while others will be closed to pedestrian traffic. However, residential parking and access to properties will remain available via alleys. Emergency access will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
