Gleichen Playground 430 Prowse Avenue Removal
Following recent inspections, the playground at 430 Prowse Avenue has been identified as no longer meeting safety standards due to wear, rust, and overall deterioration. Based on the recommendation of a certified playground inspector, the equipment will be decommissioned.
Next Steps
- Equipment and picnic tables will be removed in Spring 2026
- Select materials will be reused at other County sites
- The area will be restored to grass
