Soil Health Field Tours

Odette Menard is an agricultural engineer who has had a major role in the promotion of soil conservation. Odette is an expert in earthworm behaviour and practices that promote health & fertility.

1. Registration & Coffee at 9:30am- Wheatland County Office
2. Inside presentations at the Wheatland County Office. Field tours at Rod Vergouwen’s (Valley View Ranch) in the afternoon.
3. Lunch is provided.

• Adding to the land’s natural value
• Reclaiming land for production
• Cover crop silage mix under irrigation
• Soil Health
