Development Permit Fee Deferral Initiative Reinstated

In support of existing and new entrepreneurs affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, Wheatland County Council passed a motion to reinstate the development fee deferral initiative which was in effect during 2020.

Effective May 4, 2021, Wheatland County is offering to defer payment for business-related Development Permit applications until December 31, 2021.  Once this time period has ended, a formal follow-up reminder letter will be sent to the applicant to submit the payment or to arrange a mutually agreed upon payment plan.
