I Understand…
- My wife, Marilyn and I have been married for 58 years. We have 2 children, Jolene and Bruce and 3 grandchildren and our family resides on the original century farm.
- I have been present in the county for over 50 years. I helped bring the Carseland Fertilizer plants to Wheatland County.
- I have been a Professional Engineer for over 50 years; I’m also a graduate of the Banff School of Advanced Management.
- I helped build and operate the plants and retired from Agrium while on the board of directors of Agrium.
- My family has been a part of the Cairnhill Community Association board for 50 years.
- I have been president of Strathmore Minor Hockey and a coach for 12 years.
- I served on the building committee for the Strathmore Twin Arena.
- Since inception, I have served on the Wheatland CERB board and presently, I am on the surface rights board.
- I sit on the board of the Wheatland and Area Hospice Society as well as the Wheatland Housing Management Board.
- It is my commitment to continue to be involved in the community where I feel that I can contribute.
We live here, farm here and understand the challenges.
