Community Futures Wild Rose Launches ‘Community Heroes’ Project

September 30, 2025 – Strathmore, Alberta – Community Futures Wild Rose has secured funding through the Community Initiatives Program (CIP) to launch Community Heroes: Bringing Non-Profits to the Forefront.

Running from August 2025 to January 2027, the project will raise awareness of local non-profits, enhance their visibility in the 211 Alberta database, and encourage volunteerism and donor support. Activities include a regional media campaign, coaching for organizations on effective listings, and outreach efforts to strengthen community connections.
