Carseland Cole Crescent Update: Boil Water Advisory

Wheatland County deeply regrets any inconvenience caused by the incorrect information provided regarding the Boil Water Advisory in Cole Crescent, Carseland.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused and want to clarify that the water supply in Cole Crescent will be temporarily interrupted until the repaired waterline undergoes a thorough super-chlorination process and flushing, which is anticipated to be complete by tomorrow evening, May 20, 2023.

Once the super-chlorination process and flushing is complete, we kindly advise all residents to run all the taps in their homes for a minimum of 20 minutes following the flushing process. This will help to purge any residual chlorinated water from the system and restore normal water flow.

Water samples will be taken and sent to the Provincial Laboratory for analysis. Wheatland County will continue to provide updates accordingly.

Note: the boil water advisory will remain in effect until Wheatland County receives and confirms the test results ensuring the safety of the drinking water.

We apologize once again for any confusion or inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding during this time.
