Assessment Review Board Call for Members
Wheatland County Assessment Review Board (ARB) is an independent and impartial tribunal that hears and adjudicates formal complaints against the assessments of any property, business, or local improvement in Wheatland County. Candidates must have good analytical skills, the ability to be fair and open-minded, and a capacity to work collaboratively with stakeholders, the General Chair, other ARB members, and staff.
Tax agents, assessors, and employees of Wheatland County are not eligible to be appointed to the ARB.
Following appointment to the Board, ARB members must successfully complete a training program set or approved by the Minister of Municipal Affairs. This training may be online and must be completed. Members receive remuneration for adjudicating assessment complaints and for training.
