Assessment Review Board Call for Members

The Wheatland County Assessment Review Board (ARB) is an independent and impartial tribunal that hears and adjudicates formal complaints against the assessments of any property, business, or local improvement in the County.  Candidates must have good analytical skills, the ability to be fair and open-minded, and a capacity to work collaboratively with stakeholders, the ARB Chair, ARB members and staff.

Following your appointment to the Board, ARB members must successfully complete training provided by Municipal Affairs. This training may be in person or online and members will be financially compensated for their training and attending assessment complaints.

Members are appointed to a regional pool for a three-year term and may be asked to hear assessment appeals at urban communities located in the County.
