Agricultural Service Board Calls for Members-at-Large
Wheatland County is seeking engaged and knowledgeable community members to serve as Members-at-Large on the Agricultural Service Board (ASB).
The ASB plays a key advisory role to Council, helping shape policies and programs that support agriculture, local producers, and rural communities across the County. If you are passionate about agriculture and want to make a meaningful contribution to the future of the industry in Wheatland County, we encourage you to apply.
Who Should Apply
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have knowledge and experience in diverse areas of agriculture;
- Reside in, or own property within, Wheatland County; and
- Can attend four (4) ASB meetings per year, participate in Regional and Provincial ASB Conferences, and support occasional ASB-related committees or events.
Term Length
Members-at-Large are appointed for a three-year term, with the possibility of reappointment.
