2021 Property Tax and Assessment Notices

Wheatland County mailed the 2021 property tax bill and combined assessment notices on April 23, 2021. The mailing address and ownership displayed on the notice is the same as the information found on the property’s Certificate of Title with the Province of Alberta Land Titles Office.

In accordance with the Municipal Government Act (MGA) Section 311, this is a public notice indicating that 2021 assessment notices have been sent.

A tax bill is deemed to have been received seven days after it is sent as noted in the Municipal Government Act, Section 337.  Non-receipt of your property tax bill does not exempt a property owner from late payment penalties.  If you have any questions, please contact the Property Tax Clerk at 403-361-2029 or email tax@wheatlandcounty.ca
