2020/2021 RCMP Community Engagement

October 27, 2020

Drumheller RCMP invites the community to engage in consultation for 2020/21 Drumheller, Alta. – Staff Sergeant Eddie Bourque of the Drumheller RCMP Detachment would like to hear from local community members in the Drumheller RCMP Detachment area who may have any comments and/or concerns about policing issues in the following geographic areas:

Town of Drumheller, Communities of Aerial, Beynon, Cambria, Carbon, Dalum, Delia, Dorothy, Dunphy, East Coulee, Hesketh, Kirkpatrick, Little Fish Lake, Michichi, Morrin, Munson, Nacmine, Redland, Rosebud, Rosedale, Rowley, Rumsey, Scollard, Sharples, Taylor Siding, Trefoil, Verdant Valley and Wayne, and Counties of Kneehill, Starland, Wheatland and Stettler.

Normally, a series of town hall meetings would have been held in local community halls; however, due to the current state of the pandemic, public gatherings are not an option. As a result, for a two week period from Monday, November 2, 2020, until Friday, November 13, 2020, SSgt. Bourque will be accepting input from community members through either regular mail or email. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to SSgt. Bourque at:

Drumheller RCMP, P.O. Box 1030, Drumheller, AB T0J 0Y0
or email: KDrumhellerservices@rcmp-grc.gc.ca

Once the date closes, SSgt. Bourque will review all of the correspondence received. Later in November 2020, SSgt. Bourque will respond to the top 10 issues and concerns as presented and publish his responses in the aforementioned communities’ web pages and mailouts.

SSgt. Bourque would like to, “Thank everyone in advance for taking the time to work together during this challenging time to identify your concerns.”
