Property Tax

Property Tax Bills

Information pertaining to property taxes will be available after this year's tax rates have been approved by County Council.

Property tax & assessment notices will be mailed in April, with a payment deadline of June 30th.

A five per cent penalty (5%) is added after June 30th to any unpaid balance. For example, a penalty of $50 is added to a balance of $1,000.  If the balance remains unpaid after November 30th, another $52.50 is added.

If you do not receive your tax bill by the first week in June, please e-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and include your name, property address, daytime phone number and correct mailing address.

Non-receipt of your property tax bill does not exempt you from penalty due to late payment.

Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP)

TIPP is a payment plan by which taxpayers make consecutive monthly payments for taxes. Property owners who use the Tax Installment Payment Plan don't need to worry about the tax deadline.
